So a thing happened recently…
Cas and Fiona, siblings, love to play rough and tumble with one another. Hell, all of my dogs play that way (it’s a husky thing). I only tone it down when it gets too rambunctious. No one ever got hurt, until they did.
About two weeks ago Cas tackled Fiona, and this time she screamed. Thankfully I was there to calm the situation down. She was fine with in minutes and just limping some. So I scheduled a vet appointment to make sure that it was not a big deal.
Fast forward to the big deal… er, I mean orthopedic specialist. Fiona tore her Achilles tendon, a rare injury. Not to mention it’s in an unusual spot. So now she goes in on Friday for a complex surgery that renders an even more complex recovery. Please pray for smooth sailing! 🤕🐾
